This Cookie Policy describes how VegaTrade uses cookies and similar technologies on the marketing website at vegatrade.ai (the "Site"). It supplements the Privacy Policy.

1. Current Posture: Zero Cookies

The VegaTrade marketing site, in its current version, sets ZERO cookies. Specifically:

• No first-party cookies.
• No third-party cookies.
• No analytics cookies (no Google Analytics, no Plausible, no Fathom, no Mixpanel, no any).
• No advertising cookies, marketing pixels, retargeting tags, or social-media trackers.
• No browser-storage technologies that perform a cookie-equivalent role (no localStorage, no sessionStorage, no IndexedDB).

Your browser may store standard HTTP cache headers for static assets (favicon, OG image, CSS, font files). These are not tracking cookies; they are cache-control headers required for the page to render efficiently.

2. What Cookies Are

A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store. When you return to the same site, your browser sends the cookie back so the site can recognize you, remember your preferences, or track your activity. Cookies can be set by the site you are visiting (first-party) or by another site whose content is embedded on the page you are visiting (third-party).

3. Cookie Categories — If Cookies Are Added in the Future

If a future version of the Site or the VegaTrade platform introduces cookies, they will be classified into one or more of the categories below. We will update this Cookie Policy and, where applicable, present a cookie-consent interface before any non-essential cookies are set.

Track visitors across sites for advertising or retargeting purposes. The platform team has stated explicitly that VegaTrade will NOT use marketing or advertising cookies on the marketing site. If that posture ever changes, this policy will be updated and an opt-in consent interface will be presented before any marketing cookie is set.

4. How to Control Cookies

Because the Site currently sets no cookies, there is nothing to opt out of in v1. If your browser is configured to refuse cookies, the Site will continue to function normally.

If a future version of the Site introduces non-essential cookies, you will be able to refuse them via a cookie-consent interface on the page, and via your browser's cookie controls. Most browsers allow you to view, manage, and delete cookies through their preferences. Refusing essential cookies may prevent some features of the platform (when it opens) from working.

5. Do Not Track

Some browsers send a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") signal. Because the Site does not track visitors in any form in v1, the Site honors DNT signals by default. If DNT becomes relevant when the platform opens to authenticated users, the platform privacy policy will describe the platform's DNT posture.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy whenever the Site's cookie posture changes. Material changes will be reflected in the Effective Date at the top of this page.
